Resurrection Joy!
It was a joy to keep vigil with so many of you on Good Friday from around the world. We trust the Stations of the Cross Prayer Guide provided helpful guidance for walking the way of the cross with Christ. Please leave a message below or on our Facebook page letting us know what you learned as you prayed and listened and invited Jesus to teach you along the way. You can also check out the world map showing where people were praying.

Yes, it was a special time..here are a few of the comments that spoke out to me ‘teach me to meet my own deaths..with courage, as I’m a recent widow it’s the death of my previous life that I must meet with courage….”help me to walk the path marked our for me”..I only can pray that God will reveal this as I just don’t see that path, but know He does, ‘sometimes we must let go”..I am in that process with the loss of my husband, my note: ” I will see Roger again”….”true grief can only be endured (this gives me strength to endure the grid I have now…each station seemed to have a prayer or comment that applied particularly to my situation…
I am so grateful to hear how God used these words in such specific ways relative to the real pains and losses of our life here on this earth. Thanks to you (and all!) who have shared so personally what this meditation meant to you.
Praying the stations of the cross was a refreshing break from the rigors of a painfully busy holy-day week. I have learned to expect the days between Palm Sunday and Easter to be filled, even expect an unusual and sometimes unwanted interruption. It was a relief to shut off the phone and hang out ALONE in my church building with Jesus. It was even more precious knowing that I was not alone, being alone. Others were doing the same thing. I caught my breath. Easter weekend was a delightful experience.
