Transforming Center Accredited by National Financial Accountability Organization

The ECFA (Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability) announced on August 19, 2021 the accreditation of Transforming Center of Wheaton, IL.

ECFA accreditation is based on the ECFA Seven Standards of Responsible Stewardship™, including financial accountability, transparency, sound board governance and ethical fundraising.

“The application process to be an ECFA member was very thorough. We presented our audited financial statements, IRS Form 990, financial control policies, board governance practices, samples of our fundraising appeals and additional organizational information. We can say with full confidence that ECFA knew us inside and out before they gave their stamp of approval,” said Andrea Sung, Director of Operations at the Transforming Center.

Transforming Center joins a growing number of Christ-centered churches and ministries across America, supported by over 14.6 million donors that have earned the right to display the ECFA seal.  When an organization is accredited by ECFA, it demonstrates its willingness to follow the model of biblical accountability.

“We are pleased to accredit a ministry committed to create space for God to strengthen the souls of leaders and transform communities,” said Michael Martin, president of ECFA.

Founded in 2002, Transforming Center (http://www.transformingcenter.org) has provided retreats, relationships, and resources for those who long to keep seeking God in the crucible of leadership.
