Transforming Center and IVP Partner to Carry on Legacy of M. Robert Mulholland Jr.
The Transforming Center is honored to steward the work of Dr. M. Robert Mulholland, Jr (1936-2015) by offering two of his most important works to a new generation of pastors and leaders as Transforming Resources®. In partnership with InterVarsity Press we will be re-releasing expanded editions of Invitation to a Journey and The Deeper Journey as Transforming Resources this spring!
Based on the vision of Transforming Resources, these books will strengthen the souls of pastors, Christian leaders, and the congregations and organizations they serve. Beyond mere information, each book is designed to provide step-by-step guidance for engaging the practices that foster greater intimacy with God and deeper levels of spiritual transformation.

The new expanded edition of The Deeper Journey: The Spirituality of Discovering Your True Self exposes the false selves you may be tempted to hide behind and helps you discover the true self that comes from being hidden with Christ in God. This expanded edition includes a study guide for individual reflection or group discussion.
Mulholland’s legacy of teaching and forming spiritual leaders has been a blessing to so many Transforming Community alumni. These expanded editions make them even more useful resources.
Robert Mulholland aided the Transforming Center in strengthening the souls of Christian leaders through his books and teaching in Transforming Community Retreat 8 . His role as a teacher, friend, and spiritual mentor played an integral part in the Transforming Community and will continue to help change lives through these expanded resources. He will also continue to teach in the Transforming Community through video recordings of this unpublished teaching.

For us who have reading issues, will there be an audio version available. I cannot find one.
We are very excited about these two new resources — no one else is offering these new book editions, paired with either the DVD of Bob and Ruth discussing spiritual formation or the audio book of the Invitation to a Journey. I may be a little partial because I’m the Transforming Resources Retreat Manager, but I can also speak of the impact Bob’s teaching has had (and continues) on my life. The practices at the end of each chapter and discussion questions are great for individual as well as group study.
I was wondering if the revised versions of the books were available yet. I tried to find them on amazon but was not able to.
